An archival reproduction of Harold, a curious young Hereford steer I met in Ignacio, CO. While all the other guys ran away when I approached the fence, Harold came right up and gently sniffed me. He let me touch his nose and scratch his forehead, and was downright playful on the other side of that fence. A good reminder that animals do have distinct personalities, and approach new situations differently.
