The Golden Quiet, original painting

8" x 20" oil painting of a field of freshly rolled hay. I have always loved hay bales, the weight of them resting against the earth, the lines left in the field after the baler has passed, the stubble left behind bright and firm. Hay bales were some of my first paintings 20 years ago when I moved to Colorado, and my attraction to them has not waned.
